New Skoda Octavia Combi espied during extreme winter tests

These spy photos featuring the next-generation Skoda Octavia Combi have recently surfaced online. The estate/wagon was spotted during road tests in severe weather conditions, likely somewhere in northern Sweden.

If the test mule is any indication, the car gets to keep its original body proportions. The taillights are now a bit wider, and the trunk door has a different inclination angle, but that is about it. In front, the four headlights are now paired in groups of two. 

The car will most likely ship with a dedicated multimedia display and a dashboard adorned with crystal components in base. An all-digital dashboard, on the other hand, will be strictly optional.

Rumor has it that Skoda will be offering a hybrid version of the car along with all of the previously available engine options, including the 1.0L turbo and all the diesels.

The Skoda Octavia Combi should celebrate its live premiere sometime in the fall of 2019.
