Voyah spied testing an affordable-looking CUV

Dongfeng sub-brand Voyah has been testing a new crossover on the roads, AutoHome reports along with posting the first images of it. The car is known internally as the H37 and is smaller than the Voyah Free (see video), making it a candidate for the marque’s cheapest vehicle so far.

Judging by the test car seen here, the production version will look much like everything else Voyah has been making lately, with some adjustments in accordance with its lower size and status. The radiator grille and the hood cover with its impressively sized air intake both look new, for example.

Other than that, the Voyah H37 seems to have a more traditional interior design than the Free model – no displays spanning the entire dashboard width, just a normal infotainment display and a small digital dash.

All technical parameters remain to be revealed. The fact that there’s an air intake in the hood prompts the assumption that the car is a range-extender hybrid with a small engine acting as a generator for the main electric motor(s). We should learn more at the Auto China show in Beijing this April.
