Bentley rolls out a one-off Continental GTC adorned with gold and diamonds

The British premium carmaker’s Mulliner division cooperated with UK-based jewelry maker Boodles to produce a one-of-a-kind Continental GT Convertible adorned with precious metals and stones. It will soon go on sale, but the details remain unknown at the moment.

Starting with the exterior, it wears an exclusive tint called Tungsten with a pink pinstripe running around the perimeter (pink is the main color of the Boodles brand). There’s also a Boodles badge at one of the sides.

The interior trim consists of sand-colored and pale gray leather with pink accents. The hand-embroidered lettering “Be Boodles” took six hours of work and 278,566 stitches to make. If that’s not exclusive enough for you, consider that the stone veneers all around were sliced off natural stones approximately 200 million years old using a powerful laser, resulting in veneers only 0.1 mm (0.0039”) thick.

24-carat gold found its way on the climate vent knobs, and a whole piece of jewelry was put on the center tunnel. It is a white gold pendant encrusted with diamonds, shaped like the Boodles logo.

Nothing has been said about the powertrain, meaning the car most likely retains its usual six-liter W12. It produces 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque, sending the momentum to all four wheels via an eight-speed DCT.
