One-off, Lanzante-tuned McLaren Senna set to sell for €1.6M

A unique McLaren Senna GTR modified by the UK tuning shop Lanzante will cross the auction block soon expected to fetch between €1.4 and €1.6 million. The seller points out that it is a part of the LM25 series produced in 2020 to celebrate a McLaren F1 winning the 24 Hours of the Le Mans. The mileage is negligible, too.

McLaren produced seven cars in total for its LM25 project, but only one of them was a track-only Senna GTR. It came loaded with carbon-fiber parts and rode on exclusive wheels made of forged aluminum and carbon. The exterior was stylized as a homage to the marathon-winning F1 – same main color, same starting number on the doors, and some livery bits copied from the original car dating back to 1995. The team that worked on the project even took care to produce an exact replica of the original car’s inspection sticker.

Moving inside, the carbon-backed seats with racing harnesses are new, and the steering wheel is the same as the one installed in the original F1 GTR.

Lanzante managed to drop the weight of the car by a further 41 kilos (90 pounds). It left the 4.0-liter V8 alone, meaning it still produces its usual 825 PS (814 hp / 607 kW).

In its stock form, the Sennta GTR was a strictly track-focused supercar not fit for public roads. However, the seller claims that the Lanzante version of it is actually street-legal in the UK with all the necessary documents. For the mileage, we are told the car had 1,731 km (1,075 miles) on it in September 2023.
