Hennessey massages Cadillac Escalade-V to 862 PS

The current Cadillac Escalade-V generation reigns supreme in the luxury SUV world thanks to offering plenty of practicality, comfort and performance. It also weighs nearly 3 metric tons (6,500 lbs), meaning it can use every bit of power it can get. Hennessey has given it just that with a tuning kit called the H850.

The package includes new intake and exhaust components, an upgrade supercharger, new cylinder heads, a custom camshaft and optimized throttle valves. All of the above, plus an ECU tune, lets the stock 6.2-liter V8 output 862 PS (850 hp / 634 kW) and 1,159 Nm (855 lb-ft) of torque.

In addition to the modifications listed above, the SUV in the gallery below received an optional set of 22-inch wheels and a serial number plaque on the engine lid. The tuner only plans to upgrade 100 Escalade-V units to this spec, so it makes sense for them to look exclusive.
