Rolls-Royce Cullinan gets cosmetic surgery for another year

Rolls-Royce has facelifted the Cullinan, leaving it with the same tech but overhauling the exterior and adding modern features to the interior. Oh, and you can now order a trim that involves 18 kilometers (11.2 miles) of thread and 2.2 million stitches.

The headlights have been complemented with L-shaped sections, and the bumper ended up with slanted air intakes. The radiator grille now glows in the dark, and the rear end looks more solid thanks to a skid plate and reshaped exhaust finisher tips. For the first time on record, the SUV can be optioned with 23-inch wheels.

The interior has been revamped just as drastically, with a Spirit of Ecstasy ornament on the dash near the windshield, an analog clock, and an illuminated trim in front of the front passenger’s seat. The infotainment system inherited its modern user interface from the Spectre EV, so it now supports a much wider assortment of connectable devices and wireless earphones.

The eco-conscious buyers can now opt for Duality Twill, a new plant-based trimming material adorned with a unique embroidery. As for the traditional leather, it can now be ordered with a new perforation pattern inspired by the clouds hovering above Rolls-Royce Goodwood HQ. It necessitates carefully making nearly 107,000 punctures ranging from 0.8 to 1.2 millimeters in diameter.
