Sportec presents a particularly fashionable take on the Porsche 964

At a recent tuning industry event in Switzerland, Sportec has unveiled a comprehensively restored and modernized Porsche 964, naming it “Classic S”. Nearly every aspect of the iconic sports car has been improved.

Starting with the body, it is now 30 mm (1.2 inches) wider thanks to new fenders and sits lower by the same amount owing to an Öhlins Road & Track suspension kit. The stainless-steel panels are all new and fabricated specifically for the project. Seamless skirt extensions at the sides result in a better aerodynamic profile, while chrome accents all around liven up the prim blue exterior.

Power is provided by a 3.8-liter custom-built flat-six engine. It delivers 325 PS (321 hp / 239 kW) and 394 Nm (291 lb-ft) of torque to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox and a track-grade clutch. The company doesn’t mention any sprint times.

Bespoke Recaro seats wrapped in Pepita fabric and leather are the biggest addition in the cabin. Sportec also promises to provide every customer with custom controls, adjusting their positions as necessary.

There is no mention of the pricing, but Sportec says all Classic S cars are fully homologated for the Swiss market and street-legal in the country.
