2025 Geely Atlas pics leak ahead of premiere

The new Geely Boyue L (a.k.a. Atlas) only debuted in China in late 2022, but an update is already underway. The company has yet to properly announce it, but one of the dealerships has leaked some photos to give us an idea.

The SUV looks almost unchanged on the outside, but the cabin is drastically different. The 13.2-inch infotainment display that’s included in the base trim now stands apart from the dash screen. The transmission tunnel houses a new selector, a smaller button panel and what looks like a lid covering the cup holders. The armrest is now level with the tunnel, and there is a fresh trim on the front seats and the door panels.

Sales in China start later this month. The new Atlas will be offered in five modifications with two powertrain options. One is a 1.5L engine making 181 PS (179 hp / 133 kW) and 290 Nm (214 lb-ft) of torque, while the other one is a 2.0L mill delivering 218 PS (215 hp / 160 kW) and 325 Nm (240 lb-ft). Both use a seven-speed DCT for transmission and drive the front wheels with no further options (aside from four selectable drive presets).

The entry-level trim includes a 10.25-inch digital dash, a panoramic glass roof with a hatch in it and a surround-view camera system with the “transparent hood” feature included.
