Mercedes-AMG is reportedly developing a comprehensive performance package for the C-Class EV, including active aerodynamics, modified air suspension, and rear-wheel steering. These enhancements aim to deliver an "authentic experience" in terms of performance and handling, aligning with AMG's brand philosophy.
While official specifications remain unconfirmed, industry speculation suggests a tri-motor powertrain configuration, potentially yielding approximately 778 horsepower (580 kW). This output would position the AMG C-Class EV above the recently introduced AMG CLA 45 EV, which produces up to 671 horsepower (500 kW) from its three-motor setup.
The C-Class EV is anticipated to incorporate features such as synthesized combustion sounds, simulated gearshifts, and active seat shakers, similar to those found in the CLA 45 EV.
