Kia EV6 reveals itself ahead of premiere

The all-electric Kia EV6 (see video) has been around for nearly three years now, so it’s time for a facelift. The company plans to reveal it later this month, and here are the first teasers.

The most obvious change is in the headlights, which now sport more complex DRL patterns and look more like the front lights found on the more recent EV9 and EV5 models. The taillights and their connecting stripe also look slightly different, but the rest of the rear end appears largely unchanged.

Kia has yet to show us the cabin, but we expect to see the latest dashboard design there along with other updates.

The powertrain options are a mystery, too. Judging by Kia’s other recent releases, we may safely look forward to a stiffer body and superior noise proofing, but the rest remains to be confirmed.
