GAC rolls out a premium seven-seat SUV

The GAC Hyptec HL is 5,126 mm (200 inches) long with 3,088 mm (120 inches) of wheelbase and has a luxury interior with two extra-comfy seats in the middle row.

It will soon go on sale in EV and serial hybrid flavors. 2WD and AWD variants will be available, but we don’t have all the details just yet.

Judging by the images, the Hyptec HL features pull-out door handles, “crystal glass” headlamps and a LiDAR unit at the front end for semi-autonomous driving. The company also mentions 21-inch wheels and air suspension. A digital screen resides where the front grille usually is, meaning drivers can display simple animations on it.
