Exeed Stellar boasts an Ursa Major-inspired silhouette, little else

When the special all-wheel-drive version of the Exeed LX debuted at the last year’s Auto Shanghai show (see video), it attracted quite a lot of attention to itself. The Exeed Stellar Concept on display this year visibly falls short of that success.

There is little we (and the manufacturer, for that sake) can say about the car, which is a pure design study and as such highly unrealistic in its exterior styling. As for the cabin and the powertrain, we don’t even have an idea what to expect there.

Exeed claims the car was envisioned with an SAE Level IV self-driving tech in mind, but the company still has a long way to go until that technology is unlocked.

It was Steve Hum who came up with the Stellar’s Ursa Major-inspired body outlines. Elsewhere, the mockup has 24-inch wheels, a transparent top, LED lights all around, and gloss black fenders.
