Exeed brings a trio of new cars to the Beijing show

Chery’s standalone sub-brand Exeed has brought three vehicles to the Auto China 2026 – an SUV concept called the EX Vision, a futuristic minivan known as the X-Concept, and the yacht-inspired luxury flagship Exeed EX9 primed for production.

Despite its respectable bulk. the X-Concept has a meager three seats in the cabin – two in the front row and one in the middle of the rear row. It also lacks a steering wheel or pedals, suggesting that it is the automaker’s idea of a fully autonomous hi-tech machine.

In contrast, the EX Vision looks like something that might get a production run one day. It houses six seats inside, has rear-wheel steering and active suspension, and takes advantage of a LiDAR-based ADAS package. All powertrain details remain undisclosed.

Last but not least, the EX9 is a production car billed as a particularly comfortable SUV for families. It features a large 21.4-inch dash screen, a 31-speaker audio system, soft air-ride suspension and a trim inspired by modern marine yachts. The engine bay is occupied by a 2.0-liter petrol four-pot, but the quantity and the output of the electric motors assisting it remain to be announced. Same goes for the launch date and pricing.
