Exeed Exlantix ES enjoys a mild refresh in China

Exeed has routinely updated its part-electric Exlantix ES sedan lineup in China. The 2027 model year version features a more tech-heavy interior alongside added ADAS features, but no major powertrain changes.

A slightly revised rear bumper and an added active spoiler are just about the only visible differences from the old version. If you look closely, you may also spot slightly larger side air vents behind the front wheel arches. Last but not least, the 2027MY Exlantix ES comes with six-piston brake calipers, but those are optional.

The interior layout has visibly changed with more traditional buttons added to the center console and tunnel. The climate vents can now be moved manually into the desired position, and the infotainment system benefits from a superior chipset – the Snapdragon 8295P, to be specific. Exeed promises a more fluid and responsive UI experience thanks to this update.

On the ADAS side of things, the car now makes better-weighed decisions in urban areas and when visibility is limited. Its Falcon 700 hardware suite now comprises 27 sensors, including 11 video cameras and a roof-mounted LiDAR.

Like before, there are four powertrains to choose from. The hybrid combines a 1.5-liter engine with either one or two e-motors for 265 PS (261 hp / 195 kW) or 469 PS (463 hp / 345 kW), respectively. When fully charged, it can cover up to 255 km (18 miles) before needing a top-up.

The EV version, too, comes with one and two e-motors to choose from. The 2WD variant delivers 252 PS (24 hp / 185 kW) to the wheels, while the AWD flagship hits the asphalt with 480 PS (473 hp / 353 kW). The 2WD spec inches out a small range advantage with 860 kilometers (534 miles) per charge.

Preorders open on Wednesday,  June 10th.
