Kia launches Tasman in South Korea
The new Kia Tasman body-on-frame pickup is already available on its domestic market, with the others set to follow soon.
Right now, customers can only order their Tasman truck with a 2.5-liter T-GDI engine burning gasoline for 281 PS (277 hp / 207 kW). Other powertrain options remain to be announced. On the plus side, there are already four trim levels and two drive configurations (RWD and AWD) to choose from. The cheapest version comes in 37.5 million KRW (U.S. $26,000), and the most expensive trim called X-Pro starts from 52.4 million KRW ($36,000).
Later on, Kia plans to bring the Tasman to Australia, Africa and Middle East. It is official that there will be a diesel engine in the lineup soon.
