Video: Range Rover GT spied testing at the ‘Ring

Jaguar Land Rover decided to mix things up in the Range Rover model lineup by adding a light passenger car to it – a grand tourer, to be specific. It was announced in late June and has now been spotted running its first Nürburgring tests.

With low suspension, a low-drag profile, raked roofline and unusual glass dome, the new Range Rover GT looks like no other vehicle from its lineup. It is also the company’s first production car to make use of the all-new Electrified Modular Architecture (EMA). We don’t have all the details yet, but JLR promises four or five seats and up to 805 km (500 miles) of electric range.

Earlier renderings of the interior revealed a clean, modern design with numerous touchscreens and hardly any physical buttons in sight.

The production of the Range Rover GT will take place in the UK, with the prices expected to begin at £75,000 ($101,300). The first deliveries are penciled in for mid-2027.
