Weinsberg X-Pedition 600 MQ looks ready to traverse wilderness with comfort

German camper specialist Weinsberg has unveiled a premium home on wheels called the X-Pedition 600 MQ. It runs on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter underpinnings and seems to have everything on board that a couple of people may realistically need on a long trip away from civilization.

To that end, the camper features a large bed for two in the back that can be folded up into seats. The two comfy seats at the front end can likewise unfold into two temporary beds. There is a small kitchen on board with two gas burners, practical modern furniture, air conditioning and a nice toilet auto-sealing waste until discarded.

A special mention goes to the fit-and-finish. The walls are trimmed with wood, there are blinds on the windows and all light sources are installed in sch a way as to provide indirect lighting only – no blinding spots of light. That’s proper interior design as far as we are concerned.

The donor van is a rear-wheel-drive version with 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW) heading to the wheels. Should you need more, the company offers a range of options such as AWD and suspension lifts rated up to 100 mm (3.9 inches).
