Tesla Model Y facelift prototype pics leak online

Images allegedly showing the refreshed Tesla Model Y have made it to the Internet, Autoevolution reports referencing a post on Reddit that has since been deleted. It looks like a company employee could be responsible for the leak.

Judging by the details, the EV depicted here is a pre-production test vehicle. Note the large light bar in the back with large “Tesla” lettering on it. The interior is trimmed with perforated leather, and the seats apparently have ventilation and contour lighting. On the whole, the scope of updates seems to be the same as for the new Model 3 introduced a while ago.

A couple more Model Y spy shots were made in China a while ago. They focused on the car’s infotainment system with a 3D depiction of the car itself on the screen. One of the images allowed a glimpse at the front end of the car, complete with new headlights and redesigned bumper.
