Rumor: Honda Patrol/Armada may be coming up
After news emerged about Nissan and Honda forming an alliance, rumors started circulating about car designs that the two automakers may borrow from each other.
One of the more interesting bits of hearsay concerns Honda’s reported interest in Nissan’s Patrol/Armada SUV lineup. A body-on-frame off-roader is exactly what Honda lacks in its current product portfolio, and releasing one may actually strengthen its positions on the North American market.
There has been no official comment thus far regarding the potential release of a Honda-badged Nissan Patrol, so we’ll have to wait for more news before making any conclusions.
