The Italian Alfa Romeo restoration gurus from Totem Automobili have produced yet another gorgeous GT Super restomod, and this one stands out by, well, not standing out too much.
Known as the Litorale Bredo, the car was apparently commissioned by someone who didn’t feel like driving a head-turner. As such, it was molded from carbon fiber finished in a subdued shade of dark green, avoiding bright highlights and too many details. The wheels, the radiator grille and the side sill trims were given a darkened chrome treatment.
With an elegant and understated restomod like this one, you never know what to expect under the hood. This particular ride, however, takes advantage of a 2.8-liter twin-turbo V6 built by Italtecnica to deliver 640 PS (631 hp / 471 kW) and 655 Nm 483 (lb-ft) of torque via a six-speed manual transmission. With a curb weight as low as 1.2 tonnes (~2,600 lbs), it sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.2 seconds.
Just as refined as the exterior is the cabin, sporting a brown leather trim accentuated with titanium and carbon-fiber details. Like most other Totem restomods, the GT Super Litorale Bredo has no shortage of finely crafted buttons, levers and other physical controls, eschewing modern touch interfaces in favor of a more timeless aesthetic.
All prices are upon request only, as usual. Later on, Totem Automobili plans to become a full-fledged car manufacturer by introducing a mid-engined supercar with a naturally aspirated V12 at its base. This one remains to be formally revealed, though.
