Carlos Tavares earned tens of millions of euros in 2024, reports say

Stellantis Group ended its past fiscal year with a catastrophic 70% drop in profit and a vacancy in the CEO cabinet.

It is therefore all the more surprising to find out that Carlos Tavares, the former CEO of the company and the person openly blamed by many for its troubles, raked in €23 million in salary and bonuses in 2024.

These reports are coming from the mass media in Europe, who investigated Tavares’ tax reports. In addition to his generous compensation, he is apparently entitled to a €2,000,000 “golden parachute” and an additional €10,000,000 bonus for “exceptional performance” as the leader of the U.S. automotive business.
