Smart announces something new for the Beijing expo

Smart, car brand currently co-owned between Mercedes-Benz and Geely, will be coming to the Beijing automotive exhibition starting next week with a design study known as the Concept #5.

Based on the sketches, the new SUV will be larger than the marque’s two crossover on sale right now: the #1 (see video) and the #3.

Technical details are non-existent at this point, but we suppose it’s safe to assume that the Smart #5 will run on the SEA platform by Geely, just like its siblings.
