Singer-tuned, retro-tastic Porsche 911 set to sell for $1M+

A Mecum auction dedicated to a Porsche 911 Michigan Commission by Singer Vehicle Design will be held next week. The car packs a 4.0-liter, naturally aspirated flat-six engine, has next to no mileage, and may go for a million USD – understandable if you consider that the owner optioned it with $300,000 in options.

The one-off restomod sports a Resistance Blue paint atop a carbon-fiber body and has a light brown interior adorned with neat interwoven patterns. It rides on Öhlins shocks and takes advantage of Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes. The engine output isn’t mentioned, but the listing points out a six-speed manual transmission and a custom exhaust system.

Although the donor car saw the daylight as long ago as 1990, the restomod is much younger than that and barely driven in with 613 kilometers (380 miles) on the odometer. Once it is sold, Singer volunteers to wrap it in a paint protection film for the new owner.
