Video: 700-HP BMW M6 vs. 800-HP Supra Mk.5

A recent drag race saw three heavily tuned sports cars fighting each other to the end of a half-mile strip: a BMW M6, a Toyota GR Supra, and the latest Porsche 911 (992) Turbo S. The struggle turned out way more intense than you would expect from these three.

The Bavarian coupe took advantage of the M Competition package and an ECU tune to hit the wheels with 700 hp (522 kW) and get to 100 km/h (62 mph) in barely more than three seconds. The A90 Supra was dialed up to more than twice its original thrust – 800 hp, or 596 kW. Finally, a Porsche 911 (992) Turbo S boosted to 900 hp (671 kW) came to challenge the winner.

Now, the outcome of that last run may be predictable, but the first one proved quite the sight, and there was a one-second gap between the contenders. Who do you think won? Watch and find out if you are right!
