Audi A3 Allstreet goes PHEV in Europe
The Audi A3 Allstreet cross-hatchback is now available as a plug-in hybrid in Europe, following the example of its five-door cousin from a month ago.
The new A3 Allstreet combines a 1.5-liter TFSI engine with a single e-motor built into a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. The engine makes 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW), the motor contributes up to 116 PS (114 hp / 87 kW), but the total output is still capped at 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque.
All momentum goes to the front wheels with no AWD on the list. Once fully charged, a 19.7-kWh battery on board gives you up to 140 kilometers (87 miles) of all-electric range.
Prices in Germany start from €46,000.
