Xiaomi beats Taycan Turbo GT on domestic track
The all-electric Xiaomi SU7 Ultra supercar has set a record on the Shanghai International Circuit.
The car finished a full lap in 2 minutes 9.94 seconds, coming slightly ahead of Porsche’s Taycan Turbo GT with its 2 minutes 11.28 seconds.
Xiaomi claims that it used an unmodified production car for the test this time around (it tinkered with the example sent to the Nürburgring). The standard SU7 Ultra has three electric motors and 1,548 PS (1,527 hp / 1,140 kW) at its disposal.
