A new Chinese compact crossover SUV named Lynk & Co 02 has enjoyed its official premiere in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The vehicle will become available in Europe in 2020.
Based on the available information, the new Lynk & Co 02 comes equipped with a hybrid drivetrain consisting of a V3 gasoline engine (the same as the one that comes with the latest Volvo XC40) and an electric motor. A full-electric SUV model is also in the works.
Lynk & Co will utilize Volvo factories in Belgium to assemble its 02 SUV – unsurprising, considering that both of the abovementioned car brands now belong to the Chinese-based Geely. It will come loaded with modern equipment, features and driver aids.
