NYIAS show officially postponed until August 20, 2021

The organizing party behind the New York International Auto Show did its best not to have to cancel it this spring, leaving automakers without a platform to showcase their latest and greatest. However, the Covid-19 had its own plans for the year, leading to a major rescheduling across the board.

You may have heard that the NYIAS-2020 was first postponed until summer and then until early fall, but neither was enough for the humanity to fend off the pandemic. In a statement made earlier today, the President of the event Mark Schienberg confirmed that the show gets officially postponed until August 20, 2021. No attempt will be made to hold it next spring as per the tradition – not even if the situation improves.

The organizing team will take this opportunity to reconstruct and expand the show center, adding new pavilions and extending the main floor to 9,000 square meters.
