Greek ‘ultracar’ Chaos shows up on video

Greece-based automaker SP Automotive revealed its 3,000-HP hypercar called Chaos when it became clear that the Geneva Motor Show wasn’t returning next year. The full premiere will take place online on November 1, 2021, but we already have some new details to share with you.

In the 4-minute long video, the company mentions that it first came up with the idea of a so-called ‘ultracar’ in 2019. Apparently, CEO Spyros Panopoulos had a dream to design the world’s fastest and at the same time most technologically advanced production car. The company left clear hints in the footage that it aims to dethrone a number of other hypercars once the first production example rolls off the lines.

The video also points out that the Chaos uses exotic materials such as carbon fiber, Kevlar, titanium and Zylon (a particularly robust polymer). No expense is spared on the exhaust system, either, which is made from Inconel.

A total of 100 Chaos cars are scheduled for production at a rate of 15-20 per year.
