A transatlantic tuning studio with a world name
"pumped" an already powerful American muscle-car. The car was called
Dodge Challenger Hellcat HPE1000 by Hennessey Performance.
The engineers installed a new 4.5-liter supercharger,
another throttle, a stainless steel exhaust system, a zero-resistance filter, a
high-performance injector, a fuel pump, a reprogrammed control unit, and a
number of other improvements.
As a result, the tuners managed to increase the
productivity of the stock 6.2-liter unit with 707 horsepower and 880 Nm of
torque to 1012 hp. And 1313 Nm. The modified Hellcat HPE1000 starts from zero
to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds, and overcomes a quarter mile in 9.9 seconds, with
a top speed of 227 km / h.
As told in Hennessey, because of losses on the
transmission, to the wheels of the tuned coupe does not reach 1012, and 863
horsepower.
The price of the upgraded model Dodge Challenger
Hellcat HPE1000 by Hennessey Performance is not reported.
