UK-based Ariel Motor Company has improved upon its Nomad off-road buggy by releasing an extreme R version of it.
The ATV draws its power from a 2.0-liter Honda Civic Type R four-pot (2015–2017) boosted to 335 PS (330 hp / 246 kW) and 329 Nm (243 lb-ft) of torque. A six-speed manual transmission handles the power, directing it to the rear axle. The curb weight amounts to 670 kg (1,477 lbs), enabling a sprint to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 2.9 seconds and a maximum speed of 195 km/h (121 mph).
Further noteworthy features include four-piston brake calipers, adjustable shocks and 18-inch wheels.
Ariel Motors will be making five such vehicles priced from the equivalent of $102,460 USD each.
