The Chinese car manufacturer GAC Motor has come to the Detroit car show with several new vehicles, but the Enverge Concept crossover really stole the spotlights.
The all-new GAC Enverge Concept got rid of B-pillars in favor of the so-called butterfly doors that swing up when opened. These doors take advantage of an innovative sort of glass that looks completely opaque from the outside and matches the car color seamlessly. All in all, the exterior design of the car can be freely described as “futuristic”.
The car comes with an unnamed electric motor. Creators of the GAC Enverge Concept refuse to provide any additional information about the vehicle, but state that it can travel almost 600 kilometers before it needs to be charged again.
GAC Motor had earlier announced it would target the U.S. automotive market as a priority. For the consequent five years, the company has been coming to the Detroit Motor Show with a surprising variety of vehicles for all kinds of customers.
