The Italian car designer and coachbuilder Pininfarina has revealed its latest creation, the H500 Concept, at the Beijing motor show. The vehicle was created with the assistance from Hong Kong-based Hybrid Kinetic Group (HKG).
The H500 Concept was given a set of electric engines for over 400 hp (300 kW) in total. It accelerates to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.5 seconds and doesn’t hit its speed ceiling until 250 km/h (155 mph). Once fully charged, it can travel over 1,000 kilometers.
The interior of the vehicle is dominated by a two-tier dashboard with digital instruments and a huge display. Whether you choose to sit in front or in the back, you’ll be able to adjust the climate control using your very own interface. A dedicated door-mounted touchscreen display is provided for everyone in the car willing to share music, videos or photos. There is also a center console separating left from right.
H500 isn’t the first vehicle born to a collaboration between Pininfarina and Hybrid Kinetic Group. The companies had earlier jointed efforts to issue the H600 sedan and design such entries as the HK GT, K750 and K550.
