The Chinese car manufacturer Aiways has unveiled its latest all-electric crossover SUV model called the U5 ION. The car will reach production next year.
The Aiways U5 ION takes advantage of a brand-new car platform, MAS, which reportedly utilizes aviation-grade materials. The manufacturer hopes to release at least 15 different car models based on this platform in the future.
The battery-powered Aiways U5 ION SUV relies on a single electric engine to set in motion. Its exact specifications aren’t disclosed, but the manufacturer claims a maximum driving range of 325 kilometers (200 miles).
The interior of the Aiways U5 ION offers an all-digital instrument panel, an infotainment system with a large touchscreen and a wide list of useful options for steering assistance and safety.
