Tired of clearing all the snow around the house? Tired of paying to get it done or asking family members to help you out? It looks like Snowbol has an interesting solution, which is still in its prototype stage but getting steadily closer to production.
It takes the Snowbot S1 an hour and a half on average to remove the snow from your front yard and driveway. The robotic vehicle has only one gear and a smart algorithm telling it where to discard the collected snow for best results. It uses a proprietary navigation system that functions by creating waypoints and markers as it goes around its entrusted territory – not unlike a vacuum bot. The company claims it follows its chosen routes with centimeter precision.
