The once deceased London coachbuilder Harold Radford returns under the name of H.Radford (Coachbuilders) Ltd and even has a teaser pic of a coming car to show us.
The original company was established 72 years ago and dedicated itself to various conversions of British luxury cars – peek inside our gallery and watch the video if you would like to see more. Some examples include a three-door Aston Martin DB5 Shooting Brake, Bentley and Rolls-Royce wagons, custom Minis, and even bespoke rides for all of The Beatles. Unfortunately, the tuner’s star set in the 1970s, and it finally shut down 44 years ago.
The first unsuccessful attempt to resurrect the brand was made in the 1990s and the second this March. The new coachbuilder was registered in Letchmore Heath, Hertfordshire, England six years ago.
H.Radford (Coachbuilders) Ltd believes that the interest towards its work has grown considerably over the past several years, with special divisions of Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce working day and night to deliver truly unique cars to discerning customers.
The silhouette you see here is the only hint at what we should expect. Radford says it will take a standard Lotus car and upgrade it working together with Lotus Engineering. The debut should take place later this year and pre-ordering will be available even ahead of the premiere.
