Alain Visser, CEO of Lynk & Co, has revealed the Chinese carmaker’s plans for the European market. Apparently, the company will not be opening a dealer network in Europe. Instead, customers will be offered monthly subscription.
Speaking in a recent interview, Visser hinted that monthly fees would be close to €500. Customers will also be able to rent used cars for less. In case of a breakdown, the manufacturer will be liable for all the repairs.
The current Lynk & Co lineup only consists of a single SUV, the 01 (depicted here on the photos and the video). Based on the Volvo XC40 chassis and tech, it will become available via subscription in Europe in the next spring. Another SUV, the 02, will complement the range later on.
