The "quantum" electrocar of nanoFlowcell is prepared for a debut in Geneva

The electrocar of Quant 48Volt of nanoFlowcell, the Liechtenstein company, receives energy from flowing accumulators and it's prepared for a premiere at Geneva auto show in March. The automaker  shared some data concerning to car's technical characteristics. So, the capacity of the power plant will make 760 horsepowers, which will be generated by four electric motors of 140 kW.  The car needs just 2.4 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h. The maximum speed, limited by electronics, is 300 km/h, though it is clear, that is not the limit of the engine capacity.

The peculiarity of the power plant is the presence of two 175-liter reservoirs with electrolytes. The last are repumped in two parts of a special compartment with an ion-exchange membrane, where there is a chemical reaction with energy release between electrolytes.  Due to this principle the new Quant 48Volt  can ave the power reserve for 1000 km. The cost of the fuel (ionic liquid) after the start of industrial production should constitute 10 cents for liter.

The first prototype of nanoFlowcell under the name QUANT e-Sportlimousine, was shown to public at Geneva auto show in 2014.
