The Chinese automotive brand LCVHI will bring a four-seat, all-electric supercar with 1,000+ horses under the hood to the 88th Geneva International Motor Show opening in Switzerland on March 8th, 2018.
In order to stuff all those horses into the engine compartment of the new vehicle, creators of Venere – that’s what the newcomer is called – had to make it pretty big. It ended up being full 200 inches (5,118 mm) long. Not a big if you consider that the chassis is made of carbon which results in a substantial weight reduction.
On the technical side of the matter, there are four electric motors - two per axis – and an impressive array of batteries to feed them. The manufacturer states that Venere makes the usual sprint to 100 km/h (62 mph) in less than three seconds and can accelerate up to 250 km/h (155 mph). It is also reported to have an impressive driving range of up to 500 kilometers (310 mi).
LCVHI is currently busy constructing a plant in China which is expected to reach its full production capacity of 50,000 all-electric cars per year in mid-2019.
