Now there is no any clear information about the novelty, however, experts say that it will be a coupe equipped with a hybrid power plant that produces about 600 horsepower. They also predict the release of another model from Polestar. Interesting is the fact that the company has not severed relations with Volvo completely. Polestar will continue to develop sports packages for the auto giant.
Recall, the latest at the moment the development of the company was a set of improvements for the Volvo S60 Polestar and the versatile V60 Polestar 2018 model year. These cars are the fastest creations of the Swedish brand. Thanks to the installed carbon cloth Polestar, which has improved aerodynamic properties, the clamping force of cars has increased by a third.
Under the hood, the Volvo S60 and V60 Polestar hid the turbocharged Drive-E engine. The output of the unit is 367 horsepower. The sedan accelerates to 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, and its maximum speed is 250 kilometers per hour.
