Factory Five Racing attended this year’s SEMA show with a supercar chassis concept meant to come as a replacement for the GTM chassis. Today, it followed up with the first renderings of the car and some technical specs.
The production supercar will be called ‘Factory Five F9R’ and pack a 9.5-liter V12 engine rated at 750 hp (559 kW) and 949 Nm (700 pound-feet) of torque. All-carbon body and aero kit will enable it to weigh in under 1,088 kg (2,400 lbs), although the final curb weight is still being optimized.
The body kit will include a giant rear wing, a diffuser and a front splitter. The images also depict windows with blinds and quad exhaust finishers.
The first working prototype should emerge next spring, and the production start is planned for late 2020 or early 2021.
