The car maker Alpine has announced its intention to re-release its A110 sports car in a “fully loaded” Sport edition, complete with a more powerful engine.
The Manufacturer hopes to drop the weight of the new car to just 1,050 kilograms (2,315 pounds) by removing some of the auxiliary equipment. The Alpine A110 Sport gets a 1.8-liter charged engine with 252 hp which allows it to accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in 4.5 seconds.
The vehicle also gets stiffer suspension, a modified gearbox, a multi-function steering wheel and some other nice features.
The new Alpine A110 Sport enters mass production in summer 2018. Automotive experts say it is likely to be priced 20 percent above the regular Alpine A110 with a base price of €58,500.
