SCG Boot debuts with 19” suspension travel

Coachbuilder and tuner Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus (SCG) has released a series of images showcasing the final production version of its new SUV called SCG Boot. The four-door car will soon reach production and enter the market in a limited series of just 17 vehicles priced at U.S. $287,000 and above (the two-door version has been sold out in pre-orders).

The SCG Boot packs a Chevy Corvette Z06 engine rated at around 660 hp (492 kW). It boasts 15.4 inches (394 millimeters) of road clearance and 19” (483 mm) of suspension travel.

Clients will also be able to opt for the armored version of the car, as well as the track version, which is fully compliant with the Baja 1000 race regulations.

Scuderia CEO plans to embark on a transcontinental voyage using his copy of the SCG Boot, including crossing the Bering Strait and a large part of Russia.
