Italdesign announces a $2.4M, ultra-luxurious Zerouno Roadster redesign

Italdesign, a worldwide famous car customization studio with headquarters in Italy, has announced its next big project – a luxury-laden redesign of the Zerouno Roadster coupe. The open-top vehicle is going to cost U.S. $2,4 million, so better start saving up before all five of them get sold by pre-orders.

Not much is being revealed about the grand new supercar at this moment other than the studio shall debut it at the Geneva Motor Show starting in a couple weeks. Some authoritative sources say that it’s likely to utilize the same chassis as its coupe counterpart – it’s also the same platform Lamborghini Huracan is built on.

The top-of-the-line roadster is expected to keep its already powerful 5.2-liter V10 with over 600 hp. Driven by the same engine, the Zerouno coupe accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.2 seconds. It is logical to assume that the Zerouno Roadster will be even somewhat faster due to reduced weight.

Italdesign has chosen to celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2018 by arranging numerous amazing premieres and reveals at several motor shows. Apart from the Geneva event, the studio will attend the Turin Auto Show in Italy and participate in the Automotive News Europe Congress held there.
