The French company
declassified details of a new generation of the Hot-Hatch. It has become known
that the sedan got a full controlled chassis 4Control and two variants of
suspension: Sport и Cup.
Having the new
chassis which was taken from the modification of Megane GT and reset, the car
will turn corners on a high speed much more steadily.
The Cup suspension
version is to be used on a track, the other one is for maximum comfortable but
fast driving on common roads. Renault holds in confidence the car’s dynamic
properties. Perhaps, the Hatch back will be fit up with an advanced two-liter
turbocharged engine with about 300 horsepower. It will operate together with a
six-speed manual transmission or with a robotized transmission with two
clutches.
The official
presentation of Renault Megane R.S. will take place in the showroom of
Frankfurt in September 12.
