This 32-year-old Alpina B7 Turbo Coupe could be yours for €160,000

Famous coachbuilder Alpina has only ever released 130 B7 Turbo sports cars based on the BMW 6 Series (E24) model dating all the way back to 1976. Of these 130, only 17 came equipped with a catalyst and were therefore considered especially rare. One of these coupes will be put up for sale at an auction held on April 11-12, priced between €140,000 and €160,000.

The main series comes powered by a 3.4-liter six-cylinder engine normally capable of 330 horsepower (246 kW) and 512 Newton-meters (382 pound-feet) of torque available at 3,000 RPM. In contrast, the catalyst version offers 320 hp (239 kW) along with 520 Nm (384 lbft) of torque starting from 2,400 RPM. This enables the ultra-rare Alpina to sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.8 seconds and top out at 265 km/h (165 mph).

This particular B7 Turbo Coupe sports a black exterior with a bright red cabin by Autosattlerei Wenger. Its other noteworthy features include Alpina multi-spoke wheels, bucket seats, a Sony CDX-J10 CD player with the changer integrated into the trunk, a toolbox, and a well-appointed first aid kit.
