The American boutique car maker ScuderiaCameronGlickenhaus (SCG) has announced the forthcoming release of its latest supercar, the SGC 004S. The novelty strives to incorporate state-of-the-art technology and unique design. According to the official sources, the first cars to get off the assembly line will be available within 18 months’ period.
Speaking of this new addition to the SCG automotive line, its most immediately noticeable feature is the unusual seat layout: 1+2. That is, the driver’s seat is located in the middle position, with two passenger seats behind it. Both body and chassis are made out of carbon, which means reduced weight – just 1,179 kilograms.
According to an earlier statement, the SCG 004S supercar houses a bi-turbo, 5-liter, 8-cylinder engine capable of 650 HP and a torque of 720 Nm. Introduction of multiple systems accessible from the dashboard allows the driver to control virtually all units and parts of the car.
The minimum retail price of the new SCG 004S is $400,000. Orders are only accepted upon full advance payment of the sum mentioned above.
