Lynk&Co, which is a part of Geely, has premiered the hottest version of its coupe/SUV 05, named simply the 05+.
You may look at the original 05 model in the attached video and compare it to the images depicting the Plus version. As you can see, the latter sports a bi-color body in black and vivid green, an exclusive shade reserved for this model. Paying extra will net you body-matching brake calipers and ventilated brake rotors.
Elsewhere, the Plus version dons a body kit with carbon side sills, a splitter, winglets, a rear wing and a diffuser, and sits on special wheels.
The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-pot under the hood enjoys a boost from 251 PS (248 hp / 185 kW) and 349 Nm (257 lb-ft) of torque to 265 PS (261 hp / 195 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft). An eight-speed automatic gearbox directs the torque to both ends. Sprint times haven’t been revealed, but the top speed now amounts to 230 km/h (143 mph).
The newcomer will arrive in showrooms in China next month priced from 270,000 Yuan. The odds of it being exported to other markets later are low: in Europe, Lynk&Co is being promoted as an eco-friendly brand, and the 05+ is probably not clean enough for the local lineup.
