The Chinese startup enterprise Aiways issued an ambitious statement saying it was working on an all-electric hypercar that would be able to travel up to 1,200 kilometers (~750 miles) prior to needing a recharge. The vehicle goes under the name of RG and is scheduled for premiere at the upcoming Beijing Automotive Exhibition 2018.
Next to nothing is being revealed about the newcomer at the moment. What little we do know is that the new Airways RG is going to be able to accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.5 seconds at most and ultimately reach 300 km/h (187 mph).
Aiways RG is currently led by Roland Gumpert, once founder of Apollo Automobil and creator of the then-fastest Apollo hypercar.
