In September last year, Volkswagen unveiled the ID 4, its first EV for North America. Judging by the recent spy pics, the company will also be bringing along a sported-up version of the SUV.
A cursory glance may not reveal it, but the car has its own, uniquely designed DRLs in the lower corners of the front bumper. As for the rest of the body, chances are good that the GTX spec was being driven a test mule body. As such, we expect the final production car to pack dual motors and have a coupe-like shape.
The SUV will probably hit all four wheels with 302 hp (225 kW) in total, sprint 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) in 6.2 seconds, and cover up to 520 kilometers (323 miles) on a single charge.
